Photographer Edward Burtynsky on his Ukrainian heritage and our ‘predator species operating amok’

This week, our affiliate editor Tom Seymour talks to the photographer Edward Burtynsky as he’s recognised for his Excellent Contribution to his medium within the Sony World Images Awards. He discusses the Russian invasion and his Ukrainian heritage.

On this episode’s Work of the Week, we have a look at Winslow Homer’s most well-known work, The Gulf Stream (1899, reworked by 1906), which is on the coronary heart of a brand new present on the Metropolitan Museum of Artwork in New York.
